With tears in my eyes do yourselves a favour and go to http://www.redvsblue.com and watch the Red vs. Blue: The Blood Gulch Chronicles. Everyone who’s told me about the series went on and on about how incredible it is because it’s made from recording animation scripts done in Microsoft’s Halo.
But forget that! The episodes are side-splittingly funny, the voices are superbly done and storyline is actually well thought out.
To give a brief overview, the story centres a round the games two opposing teams, Red and Blue, and how they get themselves into trouble and how, impossibly, they get themselves out. The characters are all idiots of varying degrees and the whole thing has a Beetle Bailey comic strip quality to it.
While I heard about the series a long while ago, it’s only since I’ve got my own home PC and internet connection that I’ve been able to look this up. The creators are on season 4, which means more than a couple of people like them (they recently hint 400,000 members) if my word isn’t enough.
And while you’re there also check out The Strangehood (made from The Sims 2) and P.A.N.I.C.S (from F.E.A.R.) both of which are also very funny.

Check out http://www.hlcomic.com/ Excellent comic based on HL2. Very funny. Also be sure to check out the extras section. Specifically the “to the death” matches.. where the author sets up a scene, and then watches what happens wheen the game AI takes over… Often with hilarious results.
