Losing your head at golf!
I visited an old friend of mine who’s just got into golf, at the driving range near Edenvale on Saturday. And I was lucky enough to be in the stand next to a young lady who, quite literally, lost her head while practicing.
She was hammering away at the ball with (I think) her 5 Wood when suddenly the head of the club flew off onto the driving range. It wasn’t her longest drive, but definitely the one she’ll remember.
This was too funny and after a lot of laughter and her turning bright red, we managed to recover the club head and I got a photograph.
It’s amazing the things you witness when you’re out and about. Long live camera phones!
