Hot Lab Workshop – 22nd July 2006

When: 22nd July 2006, 10:00 – 16:00
Venue: IT Intellect, Bryanston, Johannesburg (map)
Objective: No competition, just a theme and a conducive environment for game development. Come and work amongst other game developers either on the theme-of-the-day or on your own projects.
Bring: Basic PC are available or you can bring your own equipment
Cost: R30 for cooldrinks, chips and pizza

Rather than trying to find a speaker and coax a presentation out of him I’m opting to create an environment conducive to game development. There’ll be a whiteboard, paper, pens and even PCs for those who’re keen to have their first try at game development; as well as the normal motley crew and experts like Danny Day and William Cairns.

This is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to see what the game development community is doing in South Africa, and to try their hand and see how easy it is to start producing great results.

Hope to see you there!
