Wasting no time with XNA sites
It’s really amazing how quickly content and information can become available on the internet! XNA Express has barely been out for a couple of weeks and already there are sites dedicated to the technology with tutorials, articles and demos:
www.XNADevelopment.com
www.LearnXNA.com
www.XNASpot.com
www.XNAInfo.com (Pieter Germishuys’ site which he’s busy building)
I’m fortunate to have been asked to give a presentation on “What Is XNA?†at rAge 2006, so I’ll be spending the next couple of weeks getting some demos working and learning about the inner workings. If you’re going to the expo be sure to come and check out the talk.
The above sites and more are on the MSDN Forums which is still probably the best source of information and help on XNA. I hope Microsoft will treat this product with the same evangelism that the others have received and we’ll see a pool of presentations, screencasts and podcasts available on something like Channel9.
