Develop games on the Xbox 360

I need another Xbox 360!

This is because XNA is out of beta and been released along with all the tools you need to run your games on the 360. It’s maybe just years of “real world” development that’s built up a layer of cynicism that I’m NOT going to mess around with development projects on my Xbox; I’d rather have a test box which I can work on (It also means I can have a 360 next to my PC when I’m testing and leave my playing one in the lounge with it’s sweet setup).

I’m still really excited about this push into the hobbyist space from Microsoft and I can only see it growing. Check out the XNA Team Blog post for all the details about setting up a 360 to develop games on and join the MSDN forums for help and support.

I definately will get a setup at home and making something that plays off the 360 and I WILL blog about it (as well as putting an article in Dev.Mag)
