The SA Blog Awards is a great initiative because it grows awareness of blogs and bloggers in South Africa and exposes readers to other genres of blogging life. There is a good chunk of categories; from humour to politics, lifestyle to business and it’s a good opportunity to refresh your RSS aggregator with feeds that everybody enjoys.

There is no real prize for the SA Blog Awards, it’s the fun and the sense of community that brought this ceremony together 3 years ago and I want to encourage you to put your own blog up for nomination and come to the awards to meet the people behind the posts.
