A pleasant reply from ClustrMaps

It seems my previous post, talking about my experiences using ClustrMaps didn’t go unnoticed by the ClustrMaps Team who were kind enough to leave a comment on my blog and to upgrade my subscription to ClustrMaps+. I also got listed on their User of the Month for August 2007 which is awesome.

ClustrMaps+ mainly provides the ability for users to “zoom” into continents for a more detailed look at where their visitors are as well as a largely inflated maximum of daily recorded visitors and an unlimited archive ability allowing you to take a snapshot and then reset your map if it becomes too cluttered.

The only feature I can think of which I’d like to see in ClustrMaps (and which I must suggest to the team) is the ability to hover over the red dots and learn the name of the city it’s representing and the country it’s in. I can figure out the cities in my own country and I can take a stab at the other major cities around the world but I could never guess all the places my blog is impacting. ClustrMaps Team, if you’re reading this, what do you think?

You bet – we are on the case –
rollover maps are on the way already; granularity may or may not be as fine-grained as you want, but we will see…

Many thanks for the kind words!
