Craig Nicholson was kind enough to organise some Ruby and Ruby on Rails videos to watch at the last TechReel session and it spawned a heated debate about: trusting your application a third party framework, the benefits and performance considerations of dynamic languages and the differences in productivity and extensibility between convention and configuration.  I hope that this follows through into Armand’s talk next Wednesday as I could see the glint in some developers eyes as they saw the productivity benefits of switching to a solid and stable framework and code generator.
